I thought all Mind maps were in landscape mode. I try an print and can’t change the portrait format.

Support suggests selecting the mind map; how do use select the map?

Isn’t it the option to change is in the settings? I am afraid if this will be the case that I will also discuss here whenever I also encountered the same issue, good thing that I have seen the site http://www.digitekprinting.com/ whom I am advice that they can fix problems like you have.
